Protection when your tooth needs it
A crown covers a tooth and can help restore its shape and strength. It may be considered when there is not enough remaining tooth structure for a conventional filling. The decision depends on the tooth’s condition; not every tooth needs a crown.
Preparing for your evaluation
- We review the tooth and its previous treatments.
- We assess how it meets the other teeth when you bite.
- We discuss restoration options and the quote.
Dental crown costs
A crown quote requires an assessment of the tooth and the complete plan. Ask what is included and whether additional procedures are required beforehand. We can arrange that initial evaluation on WhatsApp.
Ask about my evaluation ↗Questions about this treatment
Is a crown the same as a filling?
No. They are different restorations. A crown covers the tooth; the evaluation determines the option suited to the remaining structure.
Can you assess an existing crown?
Yes. If it feels loose, uncomfortable or different when biting, tell us what is happening so we can arrange an evaluation.
How do I know which option is right?
The recommendation depends on the diagnosis. We can discuss available options before you decide.
